We’re pleased to say that we are currently fundraising for The Well Community Cafe this Christmas. They provide free food and other services to those who need it most. Currently, there are 3 cafes and community centres that they run to support those less fortunate living on the Fylde Coast.
Not only do The Well Community Cafes provide warm and healthy food, but they also offer a place to socialise. There’s no replacement for human interaction, and just one conversation can make a great impact.
They also offer a range of activities, from children’s groups to arts and crafts sessions. These activities provide a great opportunity to meet new people and take some time out to relax.
Christmas time
The festive period is a time for families, but some people can’t spend time with theirs. This highlights the amazing work carried out by organisations such as this one.
Over the last few years, these services have been more in demand as people deal with the after effects of the pandemic and the ongoing cost of living crisis. The rising costs in the UK have affected people in many ways. By donating to these services, you can play an important role in supporting our local community.
How can you help?
In addition to raising funds for The Well Community Cafe, we’re also accepting supply and food donations that we can pass on to them. You can deliver items to our St Annes Office – Intus Lettings Lytham St Annes, 4 The Crescent, Lytham St Annes, FY8 1SN.
You can donate a range of items and here are some ideas.
- Tinned goods – must be non-perishable
- Pasta
- Rice
- Dried fruit
- Nuts
- Coffee
- Powdered milk
- Toiletries
Our office is open Monday to Friday, 9 – 5, but we would recommend that you give us a call to ensure that a member of our team is available to accept the donation.
Our festive coffee morning
We’re also hosting a coffee morning on Friday the 8th of December between 11am and 3pm. Why not come and join us for a warm drink and some delicious Christmas treats?
By attending our festive coffee morning, you’ll be in with a chance to win a range of prizes in our raffle. We’ve got a Christmas hamper, beauty vouchers and more exciting prizes on offer!
